During the course of your development, opportunity to serve will come your way the more you take those opportunities the more opportunities will come. If you miss your opportunity eventually the opportunities will cease to come your way, or you will not recognise the events as opportunities. Then you will start to think that "Spirit" do not want you to work for them and at that point you have lost your way.
Do spirit test us? The answer is no if you mean the guides and helpers and yes if you mean our spirit. Our Spirit is trying to bring forward its learning to our brain. It is important to realise that we are spirit, once that fact has truly sunk in and we learn to trust our spirit then learning no longer seems to be a test of our resources but a joy, because there cannot be fear if we know that we are everlasting nothing can hurt our spirit nothing can kill our spirit. Oh! we can suppress the connection between our physical brain and our spirit If we know our spirit, trust our spirit then everything is seen in a different light, even loved ones death. Why, because we know they are still with us, we feel their presence, we sense their influence. How many of us have sensed a loved one who has passed to spirit behind us, usually this happens in the kitchen. Some see spirit my Aunt saw my mum in her garden looking at her favourite flowers and smiling.
Very often people can blame spirit for all the things that happen to them that they do not like. We can feel that because we work with spirit we are entitled to special treatment, special protection. We have to experience things just as others do, our spirit tries to learn things that it needs to know and if you try to stop that process you are not doing yourself and the future work of spirit any good at all. If you did not experience life, as others do, how would you learn and progress it would be pointless being here. We all have various things to learn, even if we do work for spirit.
