A solid base is essential to those wishing to advance further along the spiritual path. The Spiritual path can be a beautiful experience but is full of self made traps for the unwary. What we must do is convince ourselves that we are worthy to travel this path and experience the wonderful life God will show us. Yes that is God. Who or what is God is up to you. For us God is the joining of all that there is in one force, which can achieve anything. Whatever you believe you must realise that you are part of a greater existence
If you believe in a total physical existence and that is it no God. You still are part of all that there is. You are still part of the earth, the trees, the rivers, the sea, the ocean, plants, and animals. You are part of all that lives on the planet Earth. So that is our base point, we are part of the whole of existence. What is existence that is another question for another day.
So having established a base point from which all of us can launch. We can look at the structure we will need to support us when life gets tough. The basic structure we will have enables each one of us to find their own level of protection and yet remain part of all that there is so we of course are one. So our strength, courage, understanding, sympathy, compassion, love, hate anger and the rest all come from one source all that there is. You cannot escape it, it is your heritage, even the most secluded spot in the universe is part of all that there is. All that there is can be called god or universal love, energy, power, whatever you wish but it still remains all that there is .
Life can be tough, a pain, life can destroy who we really are, and hide from us our true beauty. Our beauty when properly recognised can be seen by all and is everlasting. Unlike physical beauty it is not in the eye of the beholder it comes from our very essence, the inner you. Life can hide this and can push us deeper and deeper into despair, we need something to steady us to support us, to stop us completely submerging in life's dross. When we understand life and the purpose of life then this dross cannot harm us it becomes something to love to look after as you would a child. While we are learning this it is necessary to use all that there is as a support base
